Wooohooo eeee I wanna get away…to my own sweet escape. No, I haven’t lose it yet. Still reeling with excitement from Gwen Stefani’s concert at Stadium Putra … J

Wat a bummer. Had been feeling under the weather while I’m on annual leave.. Argghh.. I’ve been sort of ‘hatching eggs’ at home the whole weekend and coughing non-stop especially at nite. Lazed on the bed till around 11 am and slotted some time to sms & win some Sloggi products on Red FM.. hehe  Moments later, received a call from a fren that he’s got free tickets to the Cool one’s concert that nite.. yippee yeah.. hmm should I be going to crowded places and risked getting worse? No prizes for guessing my answer. Met my fren later and hold and behold, he’s got not 2 but 4 tickets! So I roped in my sister and her bf to go along.

8.45 hours later

Skipping the details of bathing, having dinner and car parking woes at the stadium, I found myself queuing up in a very long line to get in while the concert was supposed to start at 8.30. “Gwen, don’t start without me!”, I quietly screamed in my heart. We finally managed to squeeze ourselves to the last row at the very back (what do u expect, free wat), just as the lights went out and the woo hoo eee song came out…

It was truly an entertaining and unforgettable concert what with me getting up on my feet several times to the tunes of Hollaback Girl, Rich Girl, Luxurious, Wind it up and What You Waiting For? among others. The highlight of the night would have to be seeing Gwen spontaneously running to the back of the stadium and singing ‘Cool’ in the midst of the crowd. Damn, wished I was one of those lucky audiences in the RM200+ lower deck seats who got to shake her hands.  The concert ended around 10.45 pm after a round of encore performances which closed with the energetic What You Waiting For? Ahh, I was a certified fan of the Cool one that night.
