I have come to realize that in any relationship, be it between friends or lovers, one single mistake can really leave a stain unless you are related by marriage or he/she is your Siamese twin. I have always had this notion that relationships are built based on accumulated points, much like Bonuslink/Real Rewards, where at the end of the day; you can always reap some rewards from it, no matter how bad things got. Yeah right.  What we tend to overlook is, that the ‘points’ also have their expiry date. They will be forfeited after a certain time and you actually find yourself back at square one again and bear in mind, the fact that people hardly ever remember the good that you’ve done.  That is just how the world is.. Sucks huh..

In a nutshell, my point is, just don’t screw up. It’s hardly ever people get second chance. As for me, this is a lesson well learned.
