Was watching the idiot box last nite..one of my favourite tv show, Alias was having its season finale. This season is the last in what has been a glorious 5 seasons for Sydney Bristow and gang. Jennifer Garner aka super spy Sydney Bristow has ride into the sunset after her last assignment, which incidentally included having her mom & dad killed in the line of duty. Just all in a day’s work of saving the world. I remember getting really hooked into this show when it first started.. to the point that I was actually scouring the streets of Bali (I was vacationing there la), for the latest season..

Alias is one of those girl powered series portraying a female spy fighting the evils of the world, not unlike Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Plus it’s got a thrilling plot about the good & bad guys trying to get their hands on some artifacts by this inventor Milo Rambaldi, which is supposed to predict an endgame to the world’s destiny (u can sense that I’m really making this up as I go along as I can hardly remember the details!). Anyways, besides Jennifer Garner, there are also other eye candies in the show like Michael Vartan who plays her partner, and Bradley Cooper (best friend). Sometimes it is quite refreshing for the guys to take a back seat when it comes to action scenes. Doesn’t hurt if the female lead is strong and sexy at the same time. : -) Ha thinking about that, I think 8TVwill be replacing Alias with the latest season of Desperate Housewives.. Can’t wait to see what happen to Mike who got bumped off the road by a psycho in season 2’s finale… Guess you’ll know where to find me on Tue nites at 10.00 p.m. – on my bed and in front of my TV
